Ion Exchange is often defined as a reversible exchange of ions between a solid (resin) and a liquid containing dissolved ions. Mineral salts are comprised of cations and anions. Since deionization requires the removal of all ions, both the charged anions and charged cations, minerals capable of attracting both are required. These materials are referred to as anion and cation exchange resins.

Ultra Tec Deionizers are fixed-bed systems during which natural process resins are contained in pressure vessels. The water is then forced through the resin. After a service run, the resin becomes exhausted and unable to get rid of additional ions so it must be regenerated with strong acid and base solutions to revive its natural process capacity.

Mixed Bed Regeneration- Demineralizer Systems

All Water Systems offers a spread of mixed bed deionizers to effectively remove the ions from water which will contaminate your water system or manufacturing processes. A mixed bed system uses 2 regenerative natural process resins which are formed within the shape of beads. These cation and anion resin beads are mixed to get rid of more impurities with hydrogen and hydroxyl ions leading to the assembly of high purity water.

Mixed bed deionizer systems allow water to form repeated contact with the cation and anion beads. due to the area, the water comes in touch with both sorts of beads creating more ion exchanges and leading to more completely purified water.

We offer a variety of mixed bed deionizers for a good range of applications and can meet with you to debate and determine the simplest solution to satisfy your requirements. Our mixed bed water deionizer systems feature durable construction and supply optimal performance and repeatability in both service and regeneration modes.
